Cloudy gold with a thin, creamy head. Aroma of apricot jam, caramel, grains. Taste is moderate sweet and faint citric. Fruitiness and boozy warmth at the end. Not harsh though given the ABV—maybe the year or so in the cellar helped mellow it. Definitely a slow sipper though. Pleasant.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is yeasty with alcohol, ripe fruits, orange, sugary notes, stone fruits, apricot, fruit marmalade. Sweet flavour with sugar and warming booze. Body is above medium. Crazy warming boozy 15% Belgian Strong Ale with sake yeast and it actually works. Lots of ripe sugary (stone) fruits.

330ml bottle. Did not realise this was 15% when I cracked it open! Misty yellow pour, medium-sized white head. Tastes like a supercharged blond with a big old sweet character. Big alcohol hit, struggle to finish.

opalescent pale yellow colour, moderate sized dense white head; aroma of peach, pear, dried apricot, some vinous and slight coconut notes; taste is similar to the aroma with more dominant coconut and some spicy alcoholic notes; not bad

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy dark straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast and caramel, with touches of fruit and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with floral notes and touches of malt and yeast. Spicy finish with estery and malty notes and an astringent palate. Heady. Weird.
