This is fantastic out of the can, so can’t even begin to imagine how good it’d be on a side pull.
Always a bit disappointing getting home after such a long tenure watching The Ghost, and he’s not here to greet me enthusiastically.

16 ounce can from brewery. Barely translucent dark brown color. Frothy tan head. Earthy, brown bread aroma. Slightly sweet caramel notes. Bittersweet, dark malt flavor has notes of baker’s chocolate, black currants and toasted bread crusts. Medium bodied with a dry, powdery texture. Finish is dry and sticky.
