Bitter hops, hint of citrus and something else I can’t put my finger on.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Sweet stone fruit aroma. Opaque copper gold. Frothy white head. Medium-heavy sour. There is some underlying stone fruit sweetness but it's predominantly quinine bitterness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Astringent finish. After the lush aroma the taste is disappointing. Suffers due to being on cask? No depth to it.

Cask at St Mary’s Axe, Craft co, 1st October 19. Pours clear and golden, aroma is citrus. Taste is bitter, creamy, some citrus, quite fun. I like it, soft pine, some sweetness, it’s a nice cask ale.
