Cask Egham. Not the aroma I was expecting - pungent lactose sour sweetness. Dark. Not overly impressive bubbly beige head. Sour berries. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Astringent finish. Chock full of berries. Not what I was expecting but decent enough.

ABV: 4.8%. Hazy - murky dark brown colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, oat, bread, biscuit - cake, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, raspberry, blueberry, cake, oat, dark malt, tart berry notes. Refreshing. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190801]

Cask-conditioned at the Head of Steam, Leeds 1 October 2018. Dark brown in colour, with a slight, beige, head. Toasty malts, dark fruits, a slight nuttiness, plain chocolate, creamy oats and a dryish finish. Very good.
