Crafted with washed Rwanda Kilimbi coffee from Hard Lines, Stompin’ Grounds is a bold and unashamedly Liquid Mistress-esque Red IPA. This beer melds hearty malt sweetness with a selection of pithy hops to elevate the stunning coffee with tangerine and sherry notes. We love the biscuit and caramel character that has been captured in this edition of our Project Barista lineup, and the specialty malts aid in the subtle roastiness, only edged further by the coffee beans themselves. Hard Lines have been a staff favourite roaster for a long time now, and this is the first time we’ve used washed coffee in this series - which sees the beans roasted in a more natural method.

Hazy red with a thick, amber-tinged head. Aroma is fruity with bread and coffee too. Flavour has coffee up front, some zesty hop, lots of malt, bittersweet citrus, a little boozy warmth. Works nicely as a combination, with the coffee lingering along with some of the fruit. Very nice.
