Bottle. Amber color. Licorice and citrus in the aroma. Malty sweet, milky fairly hopped roasty citric flavor. Grassy bitter finish. Too sweet but tasty enough.

De ipa is ver te zoeken. De dark ook. Maar wat er is, is aardig. Geen Hof ten Dormaal niveau goed.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Clear brown with an off-white head. Was expecting a darker colour somehow. Caramel aroma with some hops. Grainy sweet taste with a semi-bitter finish. Didn't like it at all

330ml bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck. Drunk at home while watching Zone Blanche. Pours deep amber, off-white topping. Not really the appearance I expected, not the nose which brings out some caramel malt notes. Double checked the beer and yes supposed to be a black IPA. Overall character seems to be an amber caramel-malt affair, soft marmalade, dried fruits, herbal swirls. A bit lacklustre in general, which is a shame as I quite liked the india stout I had from these.

0.33 l bottle from Angry Moose, Čakovec, Croatia. Shared with lovely Anja in Ljubljana. Dark amber on colour, small to a medium off-white head. Green apple, Acetaldehyde, some dark malts, not much hops here. Apple persistent in flavour, light dried fruits, some earthy hops, quite light. Light to a a moderate bitterness develops only in the light, moderately lasting finish. No freshness, no dark malt character, no real hop profile.

Bottled 330ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Brownish coloured, medium to big sized pale beige head, mild sugary nose. Light roasted malt, weak chocolate, some caramel and touch of citrus with rather strong finish. Nothing special here.

Bottle, brew 18 01, 21.02.2020. Thick off white head. Dark orange-golden body. Effed up aroma, acetaldehyde, some sugary malty touches, citric-orange notes. Creamy. Not much bitterness. Better as it warmed, initially a 2.7 experience.

Lichtbruin bier met mooie stevige schuimkraag. Smaak is licht bitter en ietwat zoet met iets van citrus en mango, maar dan niet zo zoet. Mooie smaak balans.
