Mosaic & Galaxy IPA.

Unlike stars, planets don't twinkle. Stars are so distant that they appear as pinpoints of light in the night sky. Our Milky Way galaxy is home to at least 100 billion alien planets, and possibly many more.
The galaxy is located 3.8 billion light years away, and there is not the slightest chance of observing these planets directly, not even with the best telescope one can imagine.

Malts: Golden Promise, Extra Pale Ale, Wheat, Oats, Flaked Wheat
Hops: Mosaic, Galaxy

Cloudy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and has a decent fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, light creamy sweetness. Very mild hop spice and smooth pine. Bitterish citrus, smooth orange, the bitter factor coming from some lemon. Light tropical fruits. Smooth bitterish finish. Nice one. I appreciate the philosophy behind the name of this beer but the facts are all over the shop. We are in our local galaxy, it ain't 3.5 billion light years away. Our neighbouring galaxy (Andromeda) is only 2.5 million light years away. So distances quoted are rubbish. It's (almost) true that extra solar planets can't be observed directly but we can certainly imagine telescopes that could. We could likely even build them, but the cost would likely be many multiples of the plantets yearly economy. Never mind, we will most likely wreck this planet and kill ourselves off. Probably just as well we can't get our eyes on another verdant world.

Can at home, 17/06/18. Hazed golden yellow with a big old off white cap. Nose is pissy citric flesh, raw pineapple, pine needle, pissy melon, grassy, light floral notes, weed. Taste comprises pine resin, sharp citric flesh, tangy melon, raw pineapple, grapefruit, straw, airy malts, light skunky bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with semi dank hop bitterness. Solid IPA.

Keg at the mother Kelly's vauxhall. A milky yelow straw coloured pour with a lasting fine white head. Aroma is super dank, onion, green hop. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, wheat, orange rind, danky dishcloth, tangerine, mango,. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, lowish carbonation.. Very good hop jizz.

Keg at Mother Kelly's - Vauxhall. Good and dank. Murky, papaya, mango, some pith, flinty dryness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming finish, dank, some more dry minerality, pithy citrus, juicy tropical curtis. Solid.

Keg at Mother Kelly's Vauxhall. It pours signature-style turbid creamy gold with a study white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, ripe stone fruits, floury bread, creamy, fruit smoothie, green hops, dank and pine dust. The taste is initially sweet and creamy, oaty for sure, fruit smoothie, then some decent green bitterness, pine needles, dank, rawness, weedy, bong rips, tannin, chalky, floury in areas and a kick of booze on the back end with a chalky, oaty finish. Medium+ body and fine, foamy carbonation. Decent murky hop juice as per usual from these guys, but has a fair bit of floury/chalky vibes - a bit like tums I suppose.
