Can. 8.0% but an IPA - Neipa? Further evidence, if it was needed, that Ratebeer styles are well and truly fucked! It's not even very hazy. Almost clear gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light clean pale malts provide a whisper of creamy sweetness. Soft pine and a trace of hop skunk go well with the comparatively mellow citrus provided by the Citra hops. Soft floral orange with a touch of tangerine. Whisper of pink grapefruit. The smooth and semi dry finish brings out a mild dankness and a pinch of hop spice. Overall it's quite a laid back Dipa (not an IPA!) but it's smooth and drinkable.
