ABV: 5.5%. Clear dark red brown colour with a average, open and frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, oat, chocolate - milk chocolate, sweet malt, coffee - milky coffee. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration, milk chocolate, milky coffee, dark malt, smoked note. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Swindon Beer Festival 26/10/2017. Dark brown in colour, with a slight, beige, head. Plain chocolate, leafy hops, coffee beans, charred malts and a lingering, dryish, finish. Enjoyable.
