Black as the night with a fine beige head. Looks like a bipa should. Nice lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Average carbonation level. Maybe a bit to much for a beer like this. Anyway ok and easy to drink. Licorice, dark malt and grapefruit hoppy flavor. A bit to much cough medicine.

Draught at the brewpub. This must be a BIPA! Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark brown colour. Heavy malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavybitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice black IPA.

Draught @ the brewpub in Rome, 9%. Pours cloudy very dark brown (why?!) with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and fruit, with notes of yeast and touches of caramel. Sweetish flavour of malt and fruit, with notes of hops and citrus and hints of dark chocolate. Warming alcohol presence. Bitter and estery aftertaste. Well, it doesn't look like an IPA but it is quite enjoyable nonetheless.
