Pine Box Rock Shop, Brooklyn tap ($7): Pours mahogany with a small head. Aroma is dark fruits, spice, cigars, some hops, and bits of chocolate. Taste has an earthy and fruity bitter taste to it. Somewhat sweet, but still very drinkable. High abv is very well covered. Well put together.

Sampled on draft at Gateway Grille this beer poured a dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized creamy tan head that lingered forever and left exceptional lacing. The aroma was sweet caramel, toffee, dark fruits, fig and tobacco. The flavor was sweet and tangy toffee, wood, fig, cherry, tobacco and had a pronounced boozy presence. Medium length fruit and booze finish. Moderately full bodied. Solid.
