The Hopfish - a brilliant little thing. Catch one and reminisce about the classic days of IPAs fortified by multiple additions of hops and balanced with the residual sweetness of caramel malts. The Hopfish is always ready to take on the harsh conditions of the ever changing beer world.

Nice hoppy aroma, but pretty tame really. Some nice citrus notes, but not big. Some mealy, graininess in the flavour along with the nice floral hops. A mild IPA.

Another fine IPA, ordering on an iPad at the bar is a bit freaky though!

Bottle from Total Wine, South Richmond. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malt, minor coffee, minor citrus. Flavor is bland malt, minor coffee, almost no citrusy hops. Very bland, boring, and more a pale ale than anything.

Shared 12 oz. bottle. Best by 4/21/2017. Pale gold, off-white head. Aroma of citrus and caramel. Taste is rather bland, with citrus, caramel, grapefruit notes, earth, and soap.

On tap at Tir Na Nog. Malty English IPA, sweet malts first, hops in the back seat. Leads into a dry, chalky finish. A darker shade of gold also hints at the bigger malt profile. Pretty true to style, but not the norm when using the letters IPA
