12 ounce bottle. Pours a crystal clear golden hue with a medium white head. A light toasted malt nose. Sweet, citrus, light resin, crystal malts, a bit of bread. Pretty clean, good.

My bottle says Penn Brewery IPA. Pours thick & viscous like any other good IPA with a solid head. Look, I’m not a fan of IPA so I’m not sure how this will go. Big IPL aroma, nose is dull and forceful. The first taste is nothing but big volatile strong hops, they want to roto-till your palate. They keep trying and trying, so impressive and over the top, whew. I’m thinken this burgher aught to be a double or tripple IPA. There is some co2 in there but I can barely detect it because it just keeps kicking my ass with all these hops. Massive, viscous, rude nasty nellie. Get out of my face! Yep, I see its 7%, its got to be an impy IPA!! Hey, great idea; lets all get pine tree tar and mix in a little turpentine, then get some green grapefruit rinds & spruce saplings, juice em, then mix it in. There, yah have it.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a golden color with a small foamy white head that faded quickly and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was floral, piney and citric hops. The flavor was mildly bitter with citric,, floral and slightly herbal hops. Medium length finish. Medium body. Decent.
