City Tap, draught: pours near black with beige head. Aroma is dark chocolate, some coffee. Somewhat bitter and toasty. Middle of road.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured an almost black color with orange highlights and a medium sized creamy beige head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was toasty and malty with a strong cocoa powder presence and a bit of wood. The flavor was toasty and woody with strong cocoa powder, vanilla and was somewhat dry. Long finish. Medium body. Solid.
