Appearance: dark red/orange color with a quarter finger of white foamy head which dissipated nicely but barely left any lace
Aroma: sweet and tart strawberries up front with a lighter note of some vanilla bean
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas together nicely but slightly leans towards the sweet & tartness of the strawberries; and the same in the finish
Texture: light to medium bodied, semi-sessionable; good smoothness and nothing there to excessively stab at the tongue - just a simple smoothness from the vanilla
Overall: now this is how you do a pastry fruited ale, it might be simple but the vanilla isn't excessive and/or overly sweet.
