Draught at source: pours amber with off white head. Aroma is caramel and toasty. Taste is malty, toasty. Old school, because it is.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a light caramel color with a small white head that fades quickly. The aroma is faint sour malts. The flavor is moderately malty and smooth with light floral hops and a dry nutty finish. Pleasant if unspectacular.

12 oz bottle-pours a foamy offwhite head with clear gold color. Aroma is malt with a non-favorable edge and hops. Taste follows right in line. What is that additional characteristic? rerate-had this again, thanks to Rosemarie-no drawbacks this time. Must have been a bad batch previously. Great balanced malt/hop character.

Nice brownish color, slight head quickly dissipated. Mildly fruity and somewhat Englishy. Very drinkable. I'm not sure who is making this these days. Poor Henry's had been making it for Dock Street, but PH is long gone, but I've seen these Dock St bottles return to the shelves. *Somebody* is bottling for DS now, don't know who.
