Half-pint, cask ale, shared with Finn at the Old Vine. Filmy layer, lacing rings down the glass, clear copper brown body. Slightly roasted caramel malts on the nose. Flavoured with dark fruits and caramel malts. Bittersweet endnotes. Clean in the mouth. Pretty alright Brit bitter. (Winchester 23.10.2019)

Bottle at Three Joe's, Winchester. Malty aroma with a hint of wood chips. Copper. Fluffy white head. Light-medium bitter. Malts. Burnt caramel offers a sweet edge. Medium bodied. On the thins side. Low key fizzy carbonation. Long finish. Decent enough bitter.

Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration, caramel, nutty, dusty, sweet malt, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
