Fascination is the new name for Shimmer. Fascination is a Tree House Double IPA brewed with a blend of American hops and copious doses of passion fruit & peach purée! This beer pours a glowing orange color in the glass and gives off flavors of tropical fruit bubble gum, ripe guava, earthy citrus, and light passion fruit.

Pours a hazy, orange-peach, with smallish head. Aroma is tropical fruit and citrus. Flavor follows, along with some moderate hop bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel seems a bit thin on this one, otherwise it's what you would expect from a Tree House beer.

Pours a hazy, golden yellow, with mid-sized head. Aroma is dank, with sour washcloth, some sharp cheese, tropical fruit and citrus. Flavor is tropical fruit and citrus, with some grass. Rather sweet beer, with just a slight touch of hoppy bitterness at the finish. Soft, full mouthfeel. It's a good one.

Pours hazy pear into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Dusty pear and honey aromas. Sweet with mango and papaya upfront turning to hot honey and passion fruit in the lasting finish.

Can (2/7/20) pour from the brewery, Charlton. Appearance is opaque orange-yellow (orange juice) with nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width white foamy head with good retention and light leggy lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, tropical fruit, tangerine, peach. Taste is tangy citrus (somewhere between metallic and astringent), tangerine, late melon and peach. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation, spicy, pleasant alcohol warmth and finish as taste with late yeast and mild bitterness. Overall, nice and juicy but with a slightly offputting tanginess. A bit thin in the body for the style.
