Epsilon is our sessionable 4.2% American Porter. Epsilon means a small positive quantity and is the little version of Mobius. Upon pouring, mocha-colored bubbles cascade to quickly turn into an off-white bright head sitting on a near black silky body releasing notes of roasted coffee, milk chocolate, light toffee, and just a hint of floral and earthy hops. Epsilon is beautifully balanced from water chemistry manipulation that yields a full mouthfeel that’s not cloyingly sweet but incredibly drinkable. This beer is extremely small and crushable for its amount of flavor.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a two finger khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: roasted dark malts, black coffee, mix of milk chocolate and dark chocolate and a little bit of sweet grains
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine roasty to sweet and a touch of bitter quality; finishes leaning into the roasty and sweet tones
Texture: light to medium bodied - hmmm...maybe a touch closer to the light side; good smoothness along the tongue as the roastiness doesn't affect much of the movement of the flow along the tongue
Overall: I know it's a porter but still, maybe just beef this one up just a wee bit to make it a little bit. I believe I could still return to this, and I don't want to call this watery but eh....hmmmm...kinda left scratching my beard a little bit on the body of this beer.

473ml can. Jet black colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, brown head. Mild, roasty and chocolately, dark malty aroma, hints of dark chocolate, coffee, espresso, dark toffee, whiffs of liquorice. Taste is roasty and chocolately, dark malty, notes of dark chocolate, dark toffee, some coffee, espresso, some hop bitterness; minimally metallic overtones. Minimally creamy-oily texture, slightly dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Quite rich for its low abv, well balanced (by science) - very good.
