Moonrise Kingdom is our take on a classic English mild ale. Pouring a deep amber with a light tan head, this sessionable beer delivers layered notes of toasted bread, caramel, and just a touch of cocoa. The malt-forward profile is balanced with a subtle earthy hop bitterness, finishing smooth and easy, with a soft mouthfeel.

Can to nonic glass.
Appearance: pale golden bronze color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which settled off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: biscuity/dried toffee/tea-biscuity with a touch of sourdough and a clean earthy bitterness
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a clean bitter to sweet and doughy/bready/biscuity malted quality; finishes doughy, earthy bitter and lean
Texture: light to medium bodied; very sessionable; pretty good smoothness/seems to slink along the tongue well; low-ish carb
Overall: nicely done English mild ale worth coming back to with some fish n' chips.

Honey and green tobacco nose. Cloudy amber, thick head. Tobacco, grass. Lightish body, easy carbonation. Nice depth of flavor considering the lower ABV. Nice mild.
