Amalgamation Blend 2 takes one part Imperial stout aged in a ruby port butt for just over 38 months and blends it with one part 55 month old Woodford Reserve barrel aged barleywine for the latest in the project.

500 ml red waxed bottle poured into a tulip. Black body with no head. Aroma has notes of port, bourbon, dark chocolate, dark fruits, a bit of caramel/toffee. Taste has sweet port wine up front along with sweet dark and dried fruits, bourbon, dark chocolate. Alcohol is very well masked for 17% ABV. Full body. A tasty, well balanced blend of barrel aged barleywine and imperial stout.
