Can to snifter.
Appearance: black in the pour and black in the glass with a small tan foamy head which dissipated inward and left some light concave lace
Aroma: coffee sweetness, coffee roastiness, dark toast, whiskey barrel woodiness, earthy hints, pecans and a touch of vanilla
Flavor: the aromas are wonderfully blended together sweetly and roasty leading into a mild aftertaste of barrel, vanilla and coffee
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper! some smoothness along the tongue but not too much; finishes with the barrel, coffee and vanilla
Overall: ahhhh, yeah, there we go, the really good stuff by this brewer, I definitely would seek this one out again!

Can from BiervanEijk, Steenwijk. Whiskey barrel upfront with some lovely notes of pecan. Bit boozy with roast, vanilla, caramel, touch of chocolate and Irish coffee. Medium sweet flavour, light bitter boozy finish. Medium to full body. Nicely balanced.

Can from City Beer: pours black with small beige head. Aroma is whiskey, some vanilla, hints of roast and chocolate. Body is not that heavy for a thirteen percenter. Some booziness. Plenty of barrel. Generally pretty drinkable.

Can from Gourmet Haus. Pours black with light brown head. Beautiful aroma and flavor and the pecan plays nicely. A bit toasty on the finish.
