Our take on the amber lagers of Austria, which feature a pronounced caramel malt character from the variety of kiln dried malts. Utilizing a modified triple decoction process, where a large portion of the mash is pulled and boiled, then added back over multiple additions, creating rich and complex malt profile, that remains soft and elegant. Hopped thoughtfully with Saaz and fermented with a classic Philadelphia yeast strain.
