Can. Black beer with a brown head. Chocolate and vanilla aroma with caramel and light nuttiness. Vanilla and chocolate flavor with caramel and nuttiness. Medium-plus bodied. Vanilla and chocolate linger with caramel, nuttiness, and light coffee.

pours nearly black with a smooth brown head. does seem a tiny bit watery but not at all watery really, just less thick that I had expected for a 12% heavy stout 7/10
Aroma has artificial vanilla, cake frosting, fainter toasted nuts, perfumey cocoa note, all in a base of roasted malts. Too artificial for my taste 7/10
flavor is more potent, the roasted malts can be tasted and the toasted nuts gets a lot more prominent, one of the most direct nutty imp stouts i have tasted, balanced by some hardcore roasted malty imp stoutiness with a good dose of coffee too. Although interesting it still has this cake frosting vanilla artificial note that sort of drags it down a lot. Tastes like a very macro beery production. 7.5/10
palate is a bit thin 5/10
overall a drinkable and very interesting imp stout, but far from as good as the normal speedway stout if brewed in the states (i prefer that to the european version). 7.5 / 10

16oz can from Tavour. Black pour, small cap of beige foam. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, vanilla, almonds. Taste follows with more ice cream flavors, chocolate, hot fudge, vanilla and nuts. The only thing missing is some whipped cream.

Draught at Khyber: pours black with beige head. Aroma is walnut, vanilla, loads of chocolate. Taste is pretty sweet, rather chocolatey, loads of vanilla. Good. Tastes like rocky road.

Pint can pours with a deep dark chocolate mahogany colored body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up toasted bread, roasted nuts, peanut butter and then some mildly fruity esters, booze and nutty dark roasted coffee. The taste offers up dark roasted coffee and dark roasted malts sliding quickly into sweet nutty notes of hazel, cashew and pistachio nuttiness and further sweetened by vanilla notes. To midway the dark roasted maltiness shoulders in to create a more pleasing balance. This is pretty nice but it is on the thin side.
