Based on techniques outlined in a 1914 brewing text. Brewed from a blend of Vienna and Pils malt and hopped with a blend of Perle and Hallertau Mittlefru. Before final conditioning, Tettnang hops were boiled with water and added to the tank. This gives the beer a mild, green tea like aroma and a distinctive dryness that set this beer apart from its modern-day cousin, Kolsch. Brewed in collaboration with our friend Sebastian of Freigeist Bierkultur in Stolburg, Germany.

Can from Human Robot, Jenintown, 1/13/25. Pours a slightly cloudy yellowish color with a white head and some fairly strong lace. Grains, dough, and grass. Pretty good. Should add more from a future can…

Draught at Süd: pours clear gold with white head. Aroma is grassy, quite hoppy, hefty multigrain bread. Aroma is fairly bitter. Very full flavored. Nice.

16 ounce can from 5th Street brewery. Number one with a bullet. Honey gold pour. Frothy white head. Earthy, bready malt aroma. Flavor is dry and crisp. Light biscuity malt is balanced nicely by the rush of bitterness from the peppery hops. Very flavorful and drinkable for the low ABV.
