We thought we’d spin a fun little series based on our OG Appropriate Alchemy (Strata) - starting with a base of a pale pub ale and rotate in a selection of single hop varieties.

Here we have Appropriate Alchemy: Motueka. Brewed with British Golden Promise barley and fermented with our favourite London ale yeast, this one features a solid single dose of NZ Motueka. It’s a real guzzleable blend of a fruity hop character with a classic pub ale vibe.

We’re getting notes of London Pride seen through goggles of thinly sliced limes, some citrus flavored electrolyte water, toasted seed bread, a whiff of lemon meringue, and some fresh cut apples.

Can from my brother: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is malty and grainy. Light tropical fruit. Taste is a weird mix of english ale and tropical hops. Weird.
