Inspired by the original, but with a 2D take, this is a red-tinted hoppy beer brewed with Nugget and Amarillo, and fermented with everyone’s favorite lager yeast. All of the PNW hops bite you’ve been craving since the ‘00s, lemon zest, and a lot of malt. The argument of hoppy red ale vs American barleywine has been made, and this will further that conversation – at more reasonable strength.
