31st July 2019 Level 6 Bottleshare. Thanks to Fergus for the can. Semi opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Light palate, thin for the style. Mellow dark chocolate malts, dry. Modest dark fruits. Dry and bitterish finish. Just another Porter and quite a dull one.

Can at home, 01/01/20. Black with a big old beige head that retains well. Stupid lively pour with this one! Nose is chocolate, mellow roast, toffee, charr. Taste comprises roast malts, cocoa powder, toffee, brown sugar, dried fruits, charr, raisins, light coffee. Medium bodied, fine to light prickly carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough porter.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from Honest Brew. Pours clear brown with a moderate, foamy tan head. Great stuff, nicely rounded ashy roast character, bittersweet cocoa, a little earth, burnt toast. Light bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish, more well roasted malts and dry chocolate. Tons of flavour packed into a tidy frame. Solid.
