Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting XVI (Last Call) on 10/09/2025. Dark brown pour with a medium light beige head that recedes quickly to a film. Sticky strings of lace. Aroma of malt, rye, oak and fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, spicy rye whiskey, briny fruit and oak. The finish is slightly boozy with a rye whiskey and malt aftertaste. Good beer overall.

Bottle, at share, thanks to mansquito. Pours black. Chocolate, cherry, black pepper, raspberry, earthy, biscuit, apple. Medium body. Good.

Bottle purchased in Heeley: pours black with a tan head. Aroma is spicy, chocolate, whiskey, vanilla. Taste is sweetish, spicy, vanilla. Smooth. Excellent.
