This is our Shirtless Horseman Russian Imperial Stout aged in Woodford Reserve Bourbon Barrels for 10 months. The original deep layers of dark chocolate, roast coffee, and toffee are present, while new aromas and flavors of whiskey and rich oak add complexity to a balanced profile.

Draught at source: dark brown with beige head. Aroma is bourbon, vanilla, chocolate. Taste is lightly boozy, vanilla, light booze.

Some light bourbon and a little caramel. Lots of booze. Some roast. Too much on syrupy end for my tastes. Black pour with decent head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. Tap at Meridian Pint.
