Named after my Newert family line, this ’like new or neuwertige’ Helles was brewed utilizing a single decoction mash of German @bestmalz Pilsner malt, and hopped in the kettle with a balance of old and new world German hops in Tettnanger and Mandarina Bavaria. Bright, with hints of fresh baked bread and clementine slices.

Tapster: pours gold with white head. Don't know if the tap was dirty or something but this tasted off in a lot pf ways. Weird graininess. Unpleasant.

16 ounce can. Honey gold color. Firm, fluffy white head. Bready malt aroma has herbal notes. Tangy, sweet malt flavor upfront. Notes of tangerine, cut grass and black pepper. Clean and flavorful. Citrus and herbal hop finish.
