Had this on tap at mad mex robinson, nice place. First lets say there are so many stupid straight up versions of this kabuto that I care not if this is the right spot for this rating. Pretty much, every version tastes the same; big straight up ass bitterness that coats yer mouth and ruins yer palate for a day or two. No lie. From the start its got a slight diesel BO nose. Its cloudy pale, somewhat like a NEIPA. Thick bitter IPA impy hops on the palate. Nasty length bitter hops. A mouth-coating long lasting over the top long bitter finish, whew. Not impressed, just like any other ubiquitous IPA out there, strong with alky content, er not.
