Sample during the Pretend It’s Oregon: A De Garde Tasting Extravaganza on 07/27/2019. Dark brown pour with a medium beige head that recedes steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, dark fruit and coffee. Light to medium body with flavors of roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate and raisin. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.
