Light cloudy, amber colour, white foam. Bready, malty with light sweet fruity notes.

50cl Bottle @ Franconia. Pours cloudy Dark copper orange with a small head. BB 07/06-23. Yeasty and quite rustic nose and flavor. Orange marmelade, breadcrust and grass. Medium bodied. Bitter finish. A bit rough around edges.

Fläschla (Bayerisches Bier #5000!!!): Hazy, deep golden with an orangey sheen, small but creamy and stable white head, mild to moderate bitter-sweet aroma of grainy malt, with a fruity-yeasty touch and mineralic traces; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite light bodied but soft at least; bitter-sweet mineralic-grainy finish with tart fruity traces. Not great - by franconian standards...
