This gorgeous Czech Dark Lager is made with bohemian pils and a huge malty blend of dark munich and pale chocolate malt with a touch of caramunich, special B and melanoidin malts. Hopped exclusively with Saaz and fermented on a traditional Czech yeast strain. Flavors and aromas of rich brown bread with hints of chocolate, toffee, raisin, and hazelnut. Endlessly crushable, because sometimes you need to get away in a hurry.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black. Toast, roast, milk chocolate, herbal, yuzu. Medium body. Good.

Draught at source: milk tube style pour. Aroma is nutty and some pretzel. Taste is lightly bitter, sort of sweet. Pretty good.

Oak and a little light coffee. Very light, and easy drinking. Maroon pour with good carpet of head. Light bitter finish. A little watery on flavour. Flight at Brass Tap in Baltimore.
