We brewed this American Pale Ale not only to celebrate our nation's birthday this weekend but also as a toast to the brave veterans out there who have helped us to earn and maintain our freedom over the years.
We are proud to announce that a portion of the launch proceeds will be donated to the Intrepid Museum, a leading cultural institution that promotes awareness of history, science and service.
This juicy pale ale has the hazy appearance and soft mouthfeel of a New England style IPA scaled down for improved drinkability. The majority of the aromas and flavors are a result of heavy dry hopping with some of our favorite American "West Coast" varietals.
Although this brew starts off juicy there is just enough bitterness and carbonation on the back end to make it the perfect accompaniment to rich and fatty BBQ foods, like grilled steaks, sausages, pork chops, burgers, and hot dogs. At a modest 5.5% ABV it is an ideal choice for the long days of celebrating our nation's Freedom out in the hot sun this summer!
We get notes of grapefruit, pine, orange juice, geraniums, and a touch of tropical fruit.

Draught at Urban: pours yellow haze with white head. Aroma is green onion and citrus. Taste is a bit burned. Citrusy. Tangy, sort of bitter.

16 oz cans from the Source, 7/9/20. Rating #8888! Sadly I missed out on the glass that went along with this one, it looked cool. Pours a bright, hazy golden color with a white head and some fairly strong lace. Grapefruit, pineapple, and some orange. Pretty decent overall, but for some reason low ABV hoppy beers don't come out nearly as quality as the rest of what they make.
