Rad Dad was brewed for all of the hardworking fathers out there, because making sacrifices to give your children a better life is pretty rad! ?

This Father’s Day weekend we encourage you to give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back, kick back, fire up the grill, and pour yourself some delectable hoppy goodness.

Rad Dad was brewed with a base of extra pale premium pilsner malt, plenty of malted wheat and oats, and hopped in the whirlpool with Citra and Rakau.

We fermented this tasty IPA with a kölsch yeast strain for improved drinkability and a crispier finish. During the tail end of fermentation we dry hopped this brew with more Citra, followed by a second round of dry hopping at terminal gravity with a highly aromatic blend of Riwaka, Rakau, and Citra.

You can expect an intensely hoppy aroma, medium-light body, restrained bitterness, and a full-flavored, crisp, fruit-forward finish.

We get notes of fresh orchard fruits, pungent grapefruit, apricot, tangy gooseberry, resinous pine, and sweet tropical fruits (ripe mango, exotic passionfruit, and pineapple juice).
