A beautiful little smoked lager that is really perfect for this cooler weather. We brewed this one with German pilsner and Munich malts and an appropriate heap of smoked barley. It was hopped with Tettnanger and Hersbrucker and fermented slowly and coldly.

Pours a shiny gold from dbw can. Smoky hearty grains and taste. Pretty good example of the style

16 oz can from jcos, 1/30/24. Clear golden color, white head, coats the glass in lace. Grainy, smokey, some meatiness. Bit of earth, a little spice. Clean and very drinkable. Fairly smoke-forward. Smooth, with a great mouthfeel.

16 ounce can from brewery. Medium gold pour. Frothy white head. Bready, smoky malt aroma. Flavor follows nose. Clean, crisp malt with a healthy dose of smoked barley. Herbal notes from the Tettnanger and Hersbruker hops. Excellent balance and just the right amount of smoke. Crisp, dry, smokey finish.

Tap at F&M. Golden tan body. An awesome Rauchbier, clean and drinkable. Big smoke tone, with a clean smooth well lagered backbone. World Class, excellent.
