1291 saw the birth of Cangrande della Scala and this year gives its name to the first beer historically produced by Mastino brewery.

Low fermentation BOHEMIAN PILS beer is produced exclusively by the triple-decoction mashing method. While the nose is fresh and floral, the medium-bodied mouthfeel is suddenly invaded by the particular Tettnanger and Mittelfrüh hops aroma.

On tap at EurHop #4, Rome-Italy. Proper golden semi clear pour, tick and creamy head. Nose: generously grassy with a strong bread/malty note of crumb and biscuits. Mouth: malt us chewy and well balanced with the noble hops. Sparkling aftertaste a bit bitter. So rich! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
