Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2017, [ Great British Beer Festival 2017 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.[ As Tollgate Mary Wild ].Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, nutty, caramel, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, toasted, dark bread, nutty, light dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20170809] 6-3-6-3-13

Cask at GBBF’17, day three, 10/08/17. Rich mahognay brown with a light beige cap. Nose is fruit cake, dried fruits, light spice, toffee. Taste comprises brown bread, tangy fruit notes, toffee, nutty. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Respectable enough mild.

Sampled @ GBBF 2017, Day 2. A dark brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet dark malt, Chocolate. Taste of dark malt, Chocolate, not too sweet, dry malty finish
