West Coast Pils - We started with the Robot method of making pils. A long, slow decoction mash, lots of low alpha, mellow Strisslspalt hops, and a slow fermentation with our house lager yeast. Once the beer had matured, we let C&P do their thing and dry hopped it with a a blend of Riwaka (NZ) and Idaho 7 hops. The result is a clean and crisp pils with a massive citrus blast from the dry hop.

From our head brewer Andrew, "I have known Mike since I got into brewing seriously. We had some mutual friends and actually ended up having each other’s home brewed beers before we ever met. I have admired Mike’s hoppy beers from the get go. The evolution of Space Race has shown the intention of his vision and a mastery of changing raw materials and incorporation of new techniques. C&P has a special place in our robot hearts and we were thrilled to work with Mike to bring you this beer."

Draught in Jenkintown : pours deep gold with white head. Aroma is grapefruity, a little grassy. Taste is citrusy and lightly bitter. Pleasant.
