Keg at the brewery tap, Brooklyn, 19/04/23. Mahogany brown with a beige cap that thins to edgework. Nose is dark malts, charr, biscuit, toffee, dried fruit esters. Taste comprises raisins, cocoa sprinkle, ashen nip, light charr. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Fine for the style.

Tap at the brewery in Brooklyn. A jet black coloured pour with a halo of small beige cap. Aroma is woody roast. Earth, grass, some black patent. Burnt grass. Palate is super crisp, dry, light mineral, highish carbonation. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, earrhy toasted malts, light roast, grass, black sugars. Faint roast.. Drying finish.

Draught at source: pours dark brown with a small head. Aroma is dark chocolate and tons of grain. Fairly bitter, dirty bitter hops from NY. Fine.
