Fluffy and scrumptious banana pancakes in a glass! A dunkles weissbier, more commonly known as dunkelweizen, is a darker and maltier version of its paler and more modern relative, the hefeweizen. Classically brewed in the german style with just greater than 50% wheat malt in the grist, this brew picks up warm caramelly toast flavors from the German munich malt and highly roasted Midnight Wheat. Soft and hazy amber, it kicks off with big aromas of bananas and cloves, Grab a short-stack on draft!.

Draught at Oakton: pours light amber with white head. Aroma is banana, spice and slight roast. Taste is sweet, lightly spicy, minor roast.

12oz can. Poured a dark, brown ruby color with a small white head. Small off-white head. Aroma was lots of sweet malt, with light banana. Pretty tasty stuff, sweet malt, light toasted notes, mild maple. Smooth.
