Bourbon barrel-aged imperial milk stout with milk sugar and Madagascar vanilla beans

Tip your tastebuds with this bourbon barrel-aged milk stout. So rich and creamy, we had to use all the cows. We started with a big, rich imperial milk stout and aged it in bourbon barrels with Madagascar vanilla beans until it was udderly delicious.

Poured up on tap at Tipsy where it exhibits a deep dark black to mahogany colored body that supports a thin mocha head of foam. The aroma offers up some chocolate mixed with a lactose sensation flowing into booze. The taste delivers similar with the addition of a touch of caramel that blends to an interesting sherry like barrel notes. Nice sipper.

Can: pours oily black with small head. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, bourbon. Taste is chocolate, vanilla, whisky, cream. Booze is noticeable but the beer is still smooth and drinkable. Definitely feel the heft when you face one of these though.

On tap. Pours a dark brown hue with a medium tan head. A huge milky chocolate nose. Super sweet, lactose, tons of chocolate. Very rich chocolate syrup.

From a 473ml can on 19/1/2022. Pours not too far off balck with a medium tan head. The nose features lots of vanilla with light bourbon notes . Very intense flavour wise with milk chocloate, brown sugar and caramel, with a light roasty bitterness with a warming, bourbony finish. Syrupy texture and softish carbonation. A well done heavy and huge dessert sipper.
