Clear amber colour with small white head.Aroma is malty and mild with caramel and grain flavour mild oily texture with hint of nuts and bread smooth and mild finish.

Bottle from Brugsen Skagen @ Home. Pours slightly hazy amber with a creamy light tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, little nuts. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, litttle dusty, light nuts, hints of fruit. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, sweet finish. 110821

Shared 500 ml bottle from Holtes Vinlager, Skagen. ABV is 4.6%. Reddish to orange colour, white head. Aroma of malts and caramel. The flavour is slightly sweet, malts and caramel again, moderate hops. Not bad, but boring.

Endelig er det tid for RBHD-møte, denne gangen ombord på Fridtjofen, og vi er i gang med å pleie diagnosen (Repetitive Beer Hunting Disorder): lett uklar rødlig kobber med ok skum. Aroma og smak av brøddeig, røde bær, litt karamell og urter. 0,5 flaske. Quite underwhelming.

Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 30.11.19. Clear orange amber. Off-white head. Aroma of Sevilla marmalade, pepper and raw pale malt. Slightly spicy taste, with sweet malt and marmalade.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.[ As Skagen Sandormen ].Clear medium red amber colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramelized malt, caramel, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average to long duration, caramelized malt, caramel, sweet malt, fruity malt, light nutty. Bottle 50 cl. Pours amber with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. Nutty, caramellish aroma. Medium body, again nutty and somewhat biscuity with sufficient balancing hops. Well made for what it is. 120118
