This batch of Bright was created to be a clean and elegant showcase for our favorite New Zealand hop - Nelson Sauvin! It is crafted with a simple malt bill and fermented with clean American Ale yeast to create a flavor profile that is more a function of its vibrant fresh ingredients than an expression of yeast character. Bright w/Nelson’s aroma and flavor is a bounty of white wine, sauvignon blanc grape, tropical fruit, and grass. She is dry, soft, and adequately bittered resulting in a very approachable yet intense Double IPA.. classic and delicious!

Chalumeaux shares a 16 oz can, spilt 3 ways. Aroma is mild honey, mild biscuit, straw, white grape hints. Tree House signature yeast. The flavor is nothing short of awesome. The mild grape hints are here but also displayed a myriad of fruit nuances; pears, citrus, and lemon pith. The malt balance is pretty good with a very low bitterness.
I got to say, we have sampled some off cans from this brewery in the past year. I think they maybe had some growing pains as they were switching breweries. After sampling this beer, this brewery maybe back in my good graces. I may even take a trip to the new establishment. T.J. Was nice to grab this knowing Nelson if my favorite hop variety!

Poured from can dated 11/1\17 hazy peach with a nice fluffy white head. Aromas of juicy citrus grapeskin light floral hops and notes of pine. Taste is amazing juicy dank resinous nice mouth feel. I can't believe how well the abv is hidden. I could drink cases of this.

Can, by way of a trade. Pale, bright gold. Medium haze. Film and some bubbles of white head. Nose has tart, white grape. Some green privet leaf. Apart from that, there’s some wheaty, grainy malts. Taste is tart, and slightly harsh, metallic bitter. Mouthfeel is clean, with some astringency. Tangy, vinous bitter finish. Yeah, there’s a lot of nelson character here, but with the wheaty malts it feels a bit at odds.

Nice golden pour, almost clear. Bit of foam. Aroma is lightly resinous, pine-needles, guava and mango. Tastes prickly, hops are nice and still strong. Sweetish fruity overripe body. Nice bitter herbal hop tingling in the finish.
