This batch of Bright was created to be a clean and elegant showcase for our favorite New Zealand hop - Nelson Sauvin! It is crafted with a simple malt bill and fermented with clean American Ale yeast to create a flavor profile that is more a function of its vibrant fresh ingredients than an expression of yeast character. Bright w/Nelson’s aroma and flavor is a bounty of white wine, sauvignon blanc grape, tropical fruit, and grass. She is dry, soft, and adequately bittered resulting in a very approachable yet intense Double IPA.. classic and delicious!

Pours a hazy, yellow-orange, with middling head. Aromas of citrus and tropical fruit, as well as piney hops. Flavor is grapefruit, with a touch of dry wine, and biter, bitter, pine/spruce hops. Very bitter finish. Extremely tasty beer.

Can from a trade into a snifter showing hazy honey orange with sparse white foam. The nose shows a lot of dank pine with hefty notes of guava and sharp pineapple. The palate is medium bodied and moderately carbonated. Flavors of the same dank pine with strong notes of guava and pineapple ending on a moderate bitterness.

16oz can pours a hazy gold with some creamy, white head. Nose is grassy, perfume, lemony, some white grape, mildly dank. Flavor is grassy and lemony, mild grist, mild herbs, some paper, a little grapey. Finishes easy. Very good. Side by side with regular Bright and this was distinctly better.

475 ml can during my vacations. Hazy golden color with white head. Hoppy aroma, pine, grass, fruity, tropical fruits, passion fruit, mango, light citrus, grapefruit, onion notes, light malty. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Can thanks to Matt, 06/23/2016 canning date. Shared with a friend. Pours hazy golden, medium creamy white head, nice lacing. Aroma is juicy, OJ, lime, grass, pine. Flavor is very light sweet, light plus bitter. Light plus body. Nelson beers are really hit or miss for me, and this one was a miss. Well crafted, but I am not digging the flavor pallet.

Large white head tops a light amber-golden body with only a moderate haziness. Head retention is strong.
Oh damn. Perfect aroma full of lychee, star fruit, lime, nectarine and sauvignon blanc minerality. Just absolutely explosive and massively aromatically concentrated. If you love Nelson done well, then you couldn’t ask for anything more than this nose. Throw a touch of honey in from the malt and add no alcohol, flaw or resin and you’ve got yourself an infinitely sniffable, breathtaking nose.
More of the lush, deep, stonefruit, dry citrus and strong minerality from the nose but a little too much malt creeps in, as with the regular version. While all of Tree House’s beers are well-malted to add balance and huge softness, this one is very much missing the requisite bitterness to balance the big honey-caramel malt character. It’s not obnoxious by any means, and for any other brewer this would be a magnum opus, but the bar at Tree House is impossibly high and the sweetness and slightly loose carbonation falls a little short here. Oh but that aroma....10/5/7/3/14

Yep, still has that incredibly outrageously awesome, deep mineral, guava, white wine rich nose that highlights this hop about as well as any beer I've ever had. Better in flavor/mouthfeel than I remember, as well. Less sweetness and more engaging carbonation. Dry even, with a great maltiness. So much better than Bright - Mosaic. Score is for this recent sample.

Can. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head that lasts. The aroma is floral, must, onion. Medium mouth, juicy hop, onion, pine, dank, light bitterness, good.
