Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8.5
Taster flight at Meridian brewpub. Cloudy dark brown pour, sparse filmy head. Aroma is a nice blend of pastry flavors, cocoa powder, caramel and a little bit of vanilla. Taste is a sweet swirl of chocolate, vanilla & caramel. The salt, while not detectable on its own, does lend to an all over salted caramel vibe. Smooth. End note: the salt shows up very late on the palate.
