Draught @ The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer, 17-18 King Street, Gloucestershire, BS1 4EF Bristol, England. [ As Wiper and True Milk Shake Milk Stout ]. Clear dark brown colour with a small, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, milk chocolate. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, milk chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. On tap at The Volley. A dark brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet chocolate roasted malt, Lactose. Taste of sweet chocolate, vanilla, lactose, soft roasted malt, nice.

At a tasting, very little head, deep dark brown color, aroma of milk chocolate, wood and cocoa, sweet milk chocolate and cocoa flavor, not too complex. Nice and drinkable just a bit too sweet, almost like a chocolate drink.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks troubles. Dark amber-brown. Aroma of caramel, nuts, a bit of chocolate. Sweet flavor, caramelly, nutty, with lactose, a bit of chocolate. Medium-bodied. Too sweet.
