Topaz Farm is a three generation family owned and run farm 20 minutes outside of Portland. It’s also one of the coolest music venues in the state, hosting a rad summer concert series. Pumpkin patches. Sunflower mazes. Farm to plate dinners. You have to do a lot when you’re a farm. Or you get to do a lot.
Hops: Tettnanger
Malts: Rahr Pilsner, Great Western Premium 2Row, Gambrinus Honey Malt, GW White Wheat, Munich, C-75
Other: Nutmeg, Cinnamon Sticks, Ginger, Whole Clove, Allspice
Yeast: London II / ESB

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Clear, light amber pour, small cap of off-white head. Aroma is sweet and some savory notes, orange peel. Taste brings light cinnamon and nutmeg, the pumpkin spice very mellow, a mere accent to the nice malty beer

4oz pour at Chuck's Greenwood. Pours clear copper with white head. Aroma has pumpkin, allspice, cinnamon, some pastry malts. Flavour is pumpkin and spices (allspice, clove, cinnamon) . Does what is says on the box, I guess.

Can from Bottleworks in Seattle. Pours clear amber with a large foamy beige head. Light pie spice for aroma. Med body. Flavor is light pie spice with a hint of something else. Marzen like malt. Fairly dry. Lightly spicy bitter. A hint of brown sugar. It's arguable that squash is in it, but to me plain squash is rather tasteless in many instances. Easy drinker in any case.
